Winery Papillon – VÍNO OD FRANCÚZA (wine from french) is located in central Slovakia in the village of Devičie. The couple David and Darina Papillon started it in 2018.
We were enchanted not only by the village, its location and the history of the vineyards, but also by the kind people and the hundred cellars carved into the tuff that are located here.
Since 2018, we were preparing our land for planting vineyards in organic and biodynamic agriculture directly in Devičie. We believe that we can grow a healthy vineyard on healthy soil. We do everything in harmony with nature so that the entire ecosystem functions as a whole.
